Here is a description of how to install a lift kit on a XUV Gator.
Step 1: Set Parking brake and block rear wheels.
Step 2: Remove 5 lug nuts from each front wheel (3/4") and remove the front wheels.
Step 3: Remove 2 bolts/ nuts from the strut mount (1/2") and strut will begin to come out.
Step 4: I had to turn the wheel in the direction I was working on to keep the tie-rod from hitting the frame. Tap the A-Arm with a hammer until Strut starts to pop out, twist the hub so Strut can clear top of holder.
Step 5: Place 1" spacer down into the holder and insure that it goes all the way down.
Step 6: position the hub so that the strut can get back into the hole.
Step 7: Place jack under hub and insure that strut is straight to the holder and start jacking the A-Arm up until strut reaches spacer and stops moving.
Step 8: Reinstall the 2 bolts/ nuts into the holder and tighten ( Be sure to get the brake line hose into the top bolt to hold brake line sturdy)
Step 9: repeat for other side.
Step 10: reinstall both front wheels and lower off of blocks and take for test run.

Hope this helps somebody in their installation.

Wow in handles so much better. A pot hole glider for sure lol. We got a JD V-plow on the front and now with that spacer in there the plow dont slam the ground every time I hit a dip in our driveway with the plow all the way up!!! Simply put, the lift kit is a must for gator owners...

Where did you purchase the 1" spacers?

from a friend who had 2 extra come with his kit. I still have the manual on them with the manufacturer on it but its in our shop and ill have to get it tomarrow. Check back by mid to late afternoon and I should be back on here with it. I know they cost (I think!!) under $60 for (4) 1" spacers which really aint all that bad and man it makes a hell of a difference!!

Thanks for the reassurance that I was ordering from the supplier you had. I will plan to install just two of the 1" spacers in my 620i front and sell the remaining 2 that are in the kit. They currently cost $38.50 plus shipping. If anyone is interested I will have the two 1" for sale at half that price plus shipping.

Do you still have the 1" spacers?

How much more than a inch can a person safely go? I ordered some larger tires and am a little concerned about clearance, If these kits come with 4 spacers I am assuming you can go with 2 inch or are two of them for the rear?

They are for the front only. I used all four, 2 inch lift, on my 850D. No problem at all.
