Just wanted to give you folks a heads up regarding the purchase of a technical manual for our 825i Gators. There is a "great seller" on Ebay out of Shelbyville KY who is selling the technical manual in the eletronic .PDF format for $12.95. This is a HUGE SAVINGS over dealer cost! He will email the manual with complete instructions for download, so simple. You are able to print off pictures, directions and specs at a finger tip. I would be lost without the technical manual. Not being the greatest when it comes to downloading I asked a quesiton and he gave me his telephone number and walked me through the process step by step. Very nice individual who is willing to help us out.

Going to Ebay just type in XUV 825i manual and his listing should pop up, you know you have the correct one if you see the seller is from Shelbyville KY.

I wonder how much difference there is between this manual and the technical manual for the 625i. I haven't been able to find a good deal on the technical manual for the 625 so short of the motor being different, I wonder if the basics are the same for the most part?

Or has someone found a manual for the 625. Please share!

How about a manual for the 855D or is it the same as 825 with a motor change?

You can use the same technical manual from the 825i. A eBay guy sells these for $9.99 and his email is terrymcelfresh@aol.com i think.

Deputy...thanks for that post about the 825i Tech Manual...I looked for him and found his ebay items for sale but he didn't have the manual listed....so, I e-mailed them and he sent me the Tech Manual link to download before I even paid for the thing!!!...really nice people to deal with...I would definitely recommend him to everyone, as it was an easy transaction, and the Tech Manual itself is really nice!!!

Merry Christmas to you and your family, my friend...

Oh yeah...forgot to add this...I told him that his manual was recommended on this Forum by a few people and that's when he sent me the link to download the pdf file before it was even paid for...it ended up costing $9.90 total....that's the best $9.90 I have spent on my Gator!!! :Wlys:

Larry: I don't believe I have opened the "Owner's Manual" more then once. I am for ever looking at the tech manual. I agree the best money I ever spent on this machine, not to mention the huge savings. Same seller helped me out too, emailed him advising him I was a member of the Forum and not really great with computors, he sent the link and walked me through the install, I hadn't even sent him one red cent. Was such a pleasure delaing with him.

I am so glad your happy.

Happy Holidays and enjoy that mahcine!

I bought the download for 9.99 from the above listed ebay site. I think it's one heck of a deal. I down loaded it and printed it off, use a whole puncher and put it in a binder. I think its over 300 pages in length and another plus its in ENGLISH

Apple, I understand what your saying, "another plus its in ENGLISH". Just yesterday I was looking at the owner's manual of my new Husqvarna chain saw, had to hunt all over to find the portion that was in English. The manual is quite think, however, once you remove the sections that are in several other languages you don't have much left!

From an economical side is this a good deal for $9.99?

If the manual is 300 pages with photographs think about what you will spend in ink. That would cost me say $40.00 probably more. Then 300 blank pages. And a 3" ring binder or maybe bigger about $10.00 at Walmart So let's add up the numbers: $9.99 + $40.00 + $5.00 paper + $10.00 binder. I think my bound edition was less than $90.00 without spending a couple hours on line. IMHO !!

Who said you have to print out the whole thing at once? I found that if you only print out the section/pages you need and then save them in order, at some point you will have all of the mostly needed pages in print form. Some of the info I cannot see ever useing, but will always have access to them if needed on the puter.

I totally agree ...I never had any thought of printing out the whole manual...I'm like you and would only print out the pages that I needed at the time, and keep them in a file folder for future use in case I ever needed them again...Plus, having them indexed on the computer in PDF files makes for finding the sections you need really easy!!!

I also purchased the eletronic manual and love it! I have actually used the manual several times, only printed off what I needed. The great thing about the eletronic version is I can expand the pictures in size upto 300% for clearer view! Never worry about "where in hell did I leave the book"? No dirty pages, no torn pages, no coffee/oil spills on pages.

It comes down to "each is own". For $9.99 I am thrilled!

Wow, that is a nice looking machine. As I stated early on, I actually have spoken with this individual when I purchased my tech manual from him. Super nice guy that took the time to help me and explain what in hell down load meant! I just another new member that was looking for an 825i, this machine might be worth the shipping cost!

Without any quesion I would purchase from this individual.
