The damage to the gearing was substantial and now it's just a matter of sourcing the parts. The Tuff Torq units seem to be easier to work on than the Hydro Gear boxes.

I've never had one of those mowers but I recall thinking when I saw them at the dealership that they had to be prissy to maintain. Really cool to see some of the workings to make that steering wheel zero turn work. I am disappointed though. I searched YouTube and couldn't find part 3. I really want to see how the story ends.

Oddly, I have a strange urge to go down in the shop and dip my hands in some 80w gear oil.
