throttle linkage

hey has anybody had issues with the throttle linkage un hooking itself right at the moter , i was driving yesterday and went to give it gas ,,, nothing happened , i lifted up the box and the throttle linkage right at the moter popped of , you can snap it back on but wondering why its doin that,

got my new 2013 gator on Saturday (may 19) ... drove it for a few hours... it broke down on a trail... machine running... push gas pedal... nothing happening... I figured there was an issue with the throttle cable... I took a look ... and sure enough it popped off... I pushed it back on ... but I can't believe that the throttle cable design has nothing to hold the cable on... or keep it from popping off... nothing to tighten... nothing threaded... what a poor design...

Had the same thing happen a couple months ago. Linkage just popped off. Of course I was in a fizz to get something done so I just popped it back on and thought "I need to look at that sometime, something must have came loose and I lost it". Human nature kicked in and I hadn't thought about it until today when it happened again. Was going to research online parts after I got done searching here but sounds like I just need to come up with a "zip tie, baling wire, duct tape fix". Thanks again mother deere. If anyone has a better idea let me know.
