    2009 620i Alternator location

My dealer tells me there is a belt and a miniature alternator under the cover on the right hand side of the motor. I have both covers off, and the only belt is the one for the transmission drive. The motor is the 23hp Kawasaki. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. I'm baffled as to what they are talking about.

From the John Deere part list search on the 620i (4th model) [ https://jdpc.deere.com/jdpc/servlet/c...geServlet_Alt] , the heavy duty alternator is shown in the parts order diagrams:

The motor mounted is under the Engine-Alternator section: PN25

    Hopes this helps.

The heavy duty alternator was a add on kit that dealers installed. Otherwise it came from factory with standard stator.
