I purchased a 2005 CX (s/n 7 59936 61xxxx) Build date April 16, 2005, for use around the home & to and from boat dock. It's in pretty good shape for the age, I think, (1170 hrs). While giving it a good cleaning, I noticed that both steering boots are torn. I've looked on the net and found conflicting part numbers. AM133949 seems to be the org. number, but replaced by ????? found AM140845 (Left side), AM120280 (Right side) AM141529 (Boot kit) and AM141530 (Boot kit). Now I'm really confused.

Can anyone provide the correct/current part numbers for these boots? This CX is replacing and old Harley (AMF) electric unit.

OK, I went to a John Deere Tractor forum and posted this question. One hour later I had my answer. AM140845 is the correct boot. I ordered them from Flip Mfg.(3 days ago) Their number is 322167. Half the $$ from JD. They are installed and fit fine. FYI

Glad to hear it worked out OK. Even with my 550 which is relatively new it seems half the part numbers have be replaced with something new. I assume a change in manufacturer or some minor specification change.
XUV 550, engine replaced with Honda GX630, MBDiagman tuned primary clutch, all LED lighting, roof mounted Rigid LED lights, split no scratch wind screen, roof, home made rear panel & window and 1/2 doors, Super Winch 4500, set of CST Ancla tires & set of Carlisle All Trail tires
