fuel pump problem

any having a fuel pump issue where it will start and the die when trying to accelerate check fuel pressure should be 40 to 50 lbs mine had 18 lbs also try to find the original factory pump not the superceeded one , the pump is different length and also you have to buy a wire lume kit at a sky high price of 147.00 and it is like the original lume except they use 2 spade connectors to make it work on new pump ,not the locking plug like on the original pump , so I sent the replacement back and found an original pump, much better unit. hope this helps some one from going through all that I had to to get this right.
