I don't see why it would not. It fits in the same location as the current but is behind the cab. here is a picture of it installed. I do not have a cab but you would get the idea.

I had the same problem with a the housing on mine, a stick got between the CVT intake and the housing and ripped it off, breaking the housing. I ordered part M156914 from greenfarm parts and it was...
MBDiagMan you mention new clutch weights, do you know the part number for the replacements and does your comment mean that the upgraded weights will keep the clutch engaged on a down hill run and...
Hate to hear that, I think that I will be lucky enough to have to just replace my belt. Broke it down last night and some of the ribs are off the belt. Hard to believe it's like this with about 200...
Will be taking off the 30 or so screws tonight to take a look. I hope that's all it is...
Thanks duling, but the high whine (as I call it) from the free-wheeling is still there and I am accustomed to that. This is more of a flapping or chattering noise on top of that. The Battery is...
Hi All,
I have 2011 825i and this weekend I started having a problem that I can use some help with. On down hill when the tranny starts freewheeling I get a loud chatter from what sounds like the...
Riding down a trail yesterday and sounded like a stick was stuck or something, but I paid it no mind (mistake on my part). the sound eventually stopped and I went ahead down the trail. On the way...
Hate to Revive an old post, but curious if Airicc found out anything on this. I had the same issue (https://www.johndeeregatorforum.com/forum/showthread.php?14100-Am-I-expecting-too-much-from-my-825)
Asp, did you ever check out the Viking? I am thinkg of getting rid of my 825 for the same reason as purplewg and the viking is at the top of my list. Curious what others might have thought.
That's interesting about the cable, I had not heard that. When I was stuck in the woods I could not shift regardless if the engine was off. I did notice that once it had cooled down it did seem to...
Lily, do you want the good with the bad? I love my 825, but have recently been told by my dealer that I should keep it out of mud and water because it's not designed for that. That's the short....
g8erh8er, thinks for the correction, I did indeed mean Yamaha! The turf mode on the gator is great and I do also mostly using on the lawn and around the property. But When you do take it out on...
So any other suggestions on a fix? What have others abbanded their gator for another? I still want something that I can use as the gator but can actually go trough a little mud sometimes. The kawi...
The foam insert is there. When I took it in for the first shifting issue they noted that the filter was missing and replaced it and glued/screwed it in. Has anyone tried to seal the housing in some...
I asked the shop about the clutch and they said that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the clutch. Offered to replace it if I wanted them to for 1200 to 1500 buT they would said there is...
Hi All,
A bit of rant and query here. I have a 2011 825 and I absolutely love the thing. But, there is always a but, I take my machine to do some pretty good trail riding 3 or 4 times a year and...
Ditto on the wiring. If I remember correctly the wiring diagram is wrong but the instructions were correct. I scratched my head on that one for 10 minutes before I switched things around.
Use the Yellow and Blue (long wires) to go from the battery to the the solenoid. Then the Red and back (short) to go from the solenoid to the the winch. The short wire were just long enough for me...
The problem was that the air filter fitting for the CVT was non existent and that allowed mud to flow into CVT (along with some other trash) they had to break it down clean and reassemble. luckily...
I don't have too much details on it other than from this thread https://www.johndeeregatorforum.com/forum/showthread.php?13280-New-CVT-intake&highlight=intake
When my gator was in the shop getting...
Hi All,
I am finishing up the mounting of for my Super Winch and have a question. I have everything pretty much completed, but one of the last items was mounting the circuit breaker that comes with...
I filled the CVT with mud on this trip, it slipped for about 6 months until I took it into the shop. I hope the new CVT cover that was mentioned in another post will be able to be retro fitted to my...
