there is no way that I know about check belt for wear and some times the weights and rollers get flat spots in the primey clutch

i too have replaced the roller cage would of loved too upgrade too the metal one through and make sure you us the right oil too

sounds like the engine is not get up to temp. short run times hard on a lot of engines

it can do alot more then what deere sends them out with but yhe belts are the weak link
