DIXIEDOG is spot on, it sounds like the 825 is the machine for you.
Nice install, one thing to remember the 825 has an alternator like a car and it is mounted low not sure how the water might affect it.
Just use low gear and you will be fine, I loan mine out 2 or 3 times a year for the same thing. Kids love a gator so take plenty of candy!!!
Allygator, Its really a toss up!! I have the no scratch with tip up on the bottom and the poly rear panal its nice if you get caught out in the rain or at night for the bugs, the dust is bad. I...
Welcome Josh, Lots of good folks here, when you have some time start reading through some old posts you can learn alot by doing so, and dont be afraid to ask questions.

Al, I agree I have a 6X12 and it fits fine. If I was to get another I would get a 14 or 16 long there would be lots of extra room and I think the extra length would make it pull better.
My 825 is a 2011 and there has never been any charge to me, I do have the extended warr. I dont know if this is considered an update or not or exactly what years are affected. A friend of mine has a...
OK guys just talked to my dealer, JD has came out with a new exhaust pipe that is supposed to fix the problem. The part# AM144601 is the new pipe be sure they install this # and not one of the...
Mike, The dealer is Deems Farm Equip. Marshall MO They have recently sold and changed name to Ag Power. It sounds like you have had yours apart I bet if you take those 2 springs off that holds the...
I agree the 825 is a very noisy machine I seem to remember some old posts on here about someone trying a muffler silencer you might search for that. There is also an exhaust pipe issue mine has been...
Sounds like your switch is fine, without going to the shed to look at mine I think the reverse light is on the bottom and a clear light. If you have the turn signals I believe they flash yellow on...
X2-- I cant think that would be good if you are hauling a heavy load in the bed
with the shocks not on the same setting. I have never heard of this but have
you measured all the...

My mat would slide when dumping I just put a couple self tapping screws with a fender washer on top and it works great.
I did a search for part # BM23063 and it came back for a poly roof for a HP Gator not the 825i.
Welcome Frank,
I cant help you with the CX but someone will chime in with some info for you.
These guys have pretty well said it all. The 825 is a work horse it will be a great machine for your needs. As for the cab the all glass cab and doors is the best IMO.
GATORDONE can prolly get you...
I use a 6X12 trailer it gives you plenty of room, even a little extra for supplies.
duling, I would say yes, I would not be afraid and I have ran mine on gravel roads, dirt trails and grass with the diff locked. I will say doing so in your yard will not make the wife very happy or...
The polaris ranger rear wheels can be lock solid just like the gator, they use an electric switch, the on demand is the front end.
Sounds like some dealer BS. On a warranty covered issue my dealers and others in the area bring a gator for us to use while ours is in the shop. While under warranty they should come pick it up and...
I had a 620 and I dont believe it had any external alternator.
[QUOTE=CaptDan;31240]I agree ! This is probably the most important protection item you can add. In my humble opinion these should be standard equipment on all Gators. Even if you never plan on...
I am pretty sure the first year for the 825i was 2011. A few of the improvements I am aware of are a larger gas tank this year and factory installed power steering is an option now, prolly more...
The passenger seat isnt adjustable, but there are two sets of holes in the bottom of the seat bracket that has bolts in them, both of my gators were shipped with the seat in the forward most position...
