Just put 1 inch in mine tonite. It has a nice stance, and i did notice a little less "dive" in the corners. Don't laugh, but I used PVC couplers that were the right diameter, cut them down to the size I wanted, and am out less than 2 bucks. I saw on a forum where someone had raised theirs without any spacers. They relied on the clamping force alone, and said that things hadn't moved. That's why I took a gamble on the PVC. We will see I guess.

Ya I remembering seeing that same thread. It's the wait for it....wait for it.....BAM! factor for me. If it's hollow under that shock the right pot hole what ever is gonna slip it on down....don't want to even have that issue in my head if I am down the trail some.
