That looks like a slick set-up, but I am wondering what the red rope is for???...just curious...I see it there and can't figure out what is does...

Looks almost like a safety rope for transport in case the winch line breaks...put blade to full lift...then tie it there with a second rope

Hey guys. I bought a Gator 325i with the factory hydraulic snow plow. The motor seems very weak when lifting the plow and won't at all if any snow is on the blade. The switch is not at all easy to use as it sometimes moves the blade side to side when commanding up and down. Finally, it seems the blade does not 'float' on the ground. I plow in mountainous areas and the blade motor seems to force the plow into the ground, digging up earth.
What am I doing wrong here?
