    Brakes locked up.

I have an old new to me 4x6 I brought it home and intended to start working on it. When I went to take it off the trailer it won't roll. It will wiggle back and forth but not move. I think the brakes are locked up. When I parked it I. Pulled the e brake and it acts like it is firmly engaged. I can't lift the bed to get to the brake lever and there is slack in both cables. Any ideas?

Well I thought I had a suggestion for you until you astutely pointed out that there is slack in the brake cables. Does this Gator have hydraulic or mechanical brakes? If hydraulic, try momentarily loosening the master cylinder line and see if the pressure is relieved.

I live so far out in the boondocks, my TV runs on propane.

They are manual. Thinking I just have to get a new battery and hope the bed will raise so I can get to the brake cable. Might be as simple as some lube in the right spot if I can get into it.
