    Question Noisy transmission engagement.

Just brought my second Diesel Gator 6x4 and it sometimes grunches into gear from neutral. It doesn't do it when going straight from forward to reverse or reverse to forward. Mainly when idling in neutral then engaging forward. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated, Cheers.

That is normal for those gators to do that. When you are in neutral the clutch is turning some and when putting into forward it will clunk because you are stopping the clutch. When going from forward to reverse the clutch is stopped and it will shift smoother. One other thing to help it is to turn the rpm's down on the motor as far as possible but still have it idle smooth.
