I fixed the common slipping out of gear condition on two of my neighbors trail gators. One 6x4, the other 4x2. I used upgraded components from Tuff Torq. Both shift well now and hold gear. But on acceleration from a stop theres a nasty squeal/squeak coming from the drive belt, and sounds like the primary clutch area. Its happening on both gators, and my neighbor reports it wasnt happening before I swapped the gears out in the trans. Any idea what might be causing it? There is no tightness adjustment as far as I can tell. One belt looks fairly new, the other could probably use replacing. Both machines get up to speed fine, and the clutch engagement seems smooth. Thanks for any help.
