can you switch four wheel drive on while moving.

Hello. I am new to the forum and was just wondering if you are able to switch four wheel drive on and off when you are moving on a 2014 825i.

Yes you can switch on the 4 wheel drive on the fly, however, it wont really engage the front end until the rear wheels encounter slippage.
Did you dealer provide you with an operators manual when you purchased the 825i?

You can even view it online.....

I had read the manual and I was getting the traction control confused with 4WD. The Traction control should be engaged at stop or 1/3 throttle.
