    Front Hood Rack Question

    Hello,

    Need some help.

My wife wants to buy me an accessory for my 2014 825i Gator for Christmas. I very quickly decided on the Front Hood Rack. But looking through the Gator Attachments catalog, the Model #s don't seem to work. I ordered my Gator 825i with the "Power and Front Protection Package." This package comes with heavy duty front brush guards. The attachment catalog gives a model # for the Front Hood Rack, BM22980, but this front hood rack requires front brush guards, BM23365, which is only listed for install on the XUV 550?? I also have the OPS Glass Windshield w/wiper installed, so can the Front Hood Rack be installed? Very confusing catalog?

Newest picture I got. Gator is now at the deer camp so it'll be a while before I get the most updated pictures.

Nope, that's a 20qt. beer chest. I do have a tailgate feeder that I put in the rear receiver hitch during deer season to broadcast feed.

    Thanks,

Here is my Gator 825i with Front Hood Rack installed. Terrific fit, easy install. Should have done it sooner!

Looks good. There is another little addition you can do to the front hood rack locking pins that can make it easier to move for opening windshield or hood. You can replace the pull pins with spring loaded clevis pins like MountainGoat did.

" Ridge Runner" Easy Latch Brush Guard.

Hi all! Anyone tired of wrestling with the Clevis Pins on the 550 brush guard? Here is a nifty little fix. These are spring latches sold by J W Winco on-line. Just flip them foreword drop the guard, then back up, and flip back! No sore fingers, shaking the guard back and fourth, or lost pins! the part # Type- B 722.2-14-20-B-SW.

    Hi Skillet23,

Those pins are for the 550 brush guard . . . will they work on the 825i brush guard?

Please photos of your Big Sky Dual Gun Rack, please.
