My gator starts up fine in the morning or after it has been sitting for a while (1-2 hours) but if you run it for 5 minutes or longer it will crank for 10 to 15 seconds before it will start. After it starts it smells like it is running rich for a couple of seconds and then smooth's right out and runs great.

I have ran SeaFoam and Water eliminator through it and changed the fuel filter with no change. I looked though the tech manual and did not see an oxygen sensor on the air intake. I checked the Gas Cap and it looks like it has a breather but I couldn't figure out how to clean it. I did see an oxygen sensor on the exhaust but don't know how that could be effecting sporadic starting.

Any ideas on what to check next or solutions?

Thanks,
Dave
