STI Roctane XD

This is the year that I must buy new tires.

Bighorns 2.0 came with this 855D. 27x9-14 front, 27x11-14 rear. Guess what...appears Bighorns 2.0 no longer come in that size?????

So shopping. Appears the STI Roctane XD are will liked at other sites. I have concerns with weight. Maybe it's me, but I don't have much faith in the various weight charts I've found. BUT almost every tire in the 27x11 size seems to be 30-31 pounds. Pretty sure the Bighorns are less than that.

​Anybody have experience with these?

On edit.....what's more important weight...or size? Bighorns 2.0 according to Mud Throwers web site weight in at 28lbs. so going to a 28" tire I guess is an option.

Roctanes are 8 ply with a heavy duty rim guard, whereas the Bighorns are 6ply.... go with the Roctanes, they are a far better tire. Check out Discount Tire they have a great selection of tires and awesome pricing.

I just had to order a new tire due to cutting one on a rock, I had to get it through JD but I was able to get the BigHorns in that size.
