I wish I had known the new Gators were coming. I would have waited to at least see what the differences would be.

Here's hoping
Like captaineddie said, I'd've waited... By the looks of the picture of the dash at crossimplement.com, Big Green may finally be getting serious about competing in the side by side market.
Check out my search for 2018 Full Size Gator for other articles.
Of course I'll look forward to going to look at this "new machine," but it mostly looks like an upgrade of the current styling & design. Looks like they've added pneumatic arms to the windshield so it tilts out for ventilation instead of flipping it up on the poly cab design. Hopefully they took some of our wishlists ideas & made it a better preforming machine. It has a glove box door, more storage supposedly, & dash looks like they improved it, which wasn't hard to do. Heat & A/C, why not just buy a Jeep or a Chevy Tracker then? I admit a heater is nice in New York. Looks as if the shifting lever maybe on the dash now, under the middle left air vent, 4 more gallons of fuel & 1 more MPH, were getting there. Are they keeping the ROPs & OPS cages for different cab designs, I hope not. Is engine braking standard?
See the YouTube video WOEII found about the 835R. Or check out John Deere's own page with more pictures.
I'm reserving judgement, here's hoping....must buy a lottery ticket so I can get this in the R trim level.... or a Can Am Defender 800 w/ cab & tracks!

835M at JD Dealer
Heard there was an 835M at local dealer, so decided to go take a look. Didn't want them to think I was interested so didn't ask too much. As is $25,000, mentioned I didn't think A/C was necessary & was told that it's $1500.00 for that alone, about 6 - 8 months worth of payments, IMO. Here are some pictures I took after dealership was closed.
Notice the cab has no headliner & parking brake between driver legs. Brush guard has newer style keeper pins. This model has 8 empty switch bays for accessories.
