    trouble codes

has any one found a way to access trouble codes on a gator,I have a 2014 825i Gator has a slight misfire , I have checked all logical things like wires spark plugs ect , seems to be intermittent but my 3k snapon scanner will not access codes or info , I can trouble shoot any other vehical but not john deere, whats up with that ,I refuse to pay a john deere mechanic to come 75miles and charge me an arm and a leg to trouble shoot my machine ,I paid 17000.00 for this 825 and I cant get john deere to release info on it like any other manufacturer, im hoping john deere will give up there info eventually and have a adapter made to access computer info.

I recently stumbled across this Fault Code Reader while online.

I have not purchased this reader, I’m merely passing this along.

some things to check as i have looked into similar issue on my 825
    • plug wires wear going into engine cover
    • bottom of coils tend to collect water and debris at the connector
    • crank position sensor
