Lightbulb 2 Inch Lift Came Today.

I just put oversized Grim Reaper tires on the front and under heavy trail bouncing or hard turns it will rub under the plastic fender. The rub noise just goes right through you when it happens.

Here is what the spacers look like and they say it's a simple install.

I got a Adirondack mud fest early June so I gotta get this rubbin crap to stop. My plan was for the spacers and the HD shocks. But I am worried that the HD shocks might be to stiff for trail ridin. Gonna be trial and error with this project.

Hopefully my friend will help with the install this weekend.

Will take pics of the project.

Shouldn't be too hard. Even body lifts for trucks aren't usually too much trouble.

I lifted my front 2" with the new Heavy duty struts that were $220.00. That is the way to go!

How are the HD shocks for trail riding? Almost got them but was worried that the HD shocks were more for the plow and controling the heavy weight.

i made my lift from i think it was 1-3/4 pipe i cut some nipples out of it and it worked the same way till axles started popping out . it cost me around 4.00 at lowes for a nipple and i cut them out with my chop saw. i eventually cut them back down to around 3/8 of an inch just enough to stop the rubbing but not enough to pop the axles out.
