Park brake warning beeping continuously
I have a '13 825i, the park brake warning is now continuously beeping. In its normal state, the park brake only beeps when the brake is set and you try to put it in gear. Any ideas on how start running down this problem? Thx.

I would guess it is out of adjustment. My 825i buzzer will not go off unless the parking brake is fully down and I mean all the way down so I can see it would not take much to get out of adjustment.
The tech ref says the switch is closed with brake applied so the last position (down) opens the switch and likely is not getting open. If you disconnect the switch (so circuit is open) then it should go off to help isolate.

Thx bunky...checked the squat switch on the brake handle and it appears to be functioning ok. Disconnected the wires and the beeping continued. Wonder if there is any other malfunction/warning this beeping (about 1 hertz) could indicate? Couldn't find anything else in the owners manual. Any ideas on how to disable the beeper?

Anyone know how to locate and disable the beeper? JD stealer won't talk about it since it involves disabling a "safety" feature...wants to fix it for me....$$$$

I know it's opposite of what Bunky found in the manual but have you tried connecting/touching the two leads together? On my tractors Deere went opposite so you couldn't disable a safety feature by simply unplugging it. For example I have to jumper together (instead of unplugging) the reverse sensor wires so the mowing deck does not disengage every time you go into reverse.

The rest of the circuit depends on the neutral safety switch and throttle position. Power is applied to the buzzer relay coil and if you are in gear and throttle depressed power is removed from the relay (throttle open circuit removing power) and the buzzer will sound if the park brake is engaged.
It will continue to sound until the parking brake is released or the throttle is released. The light should also be on for the parking brake.
Based upon the above from tech ref, I would then suspect there is an open in the circuit that prevents the buzzer relay from getting power.
I think the relay is on the PCB on the dash.

Found the beeper...disconnected the wires and all is well...park brake light still works. Thx bunky and dane! Never liked that beeping feature anyway...if you need audible AND visual warnings not to drive with the park brake engaged, you're too stupid to be driving period. Just sayin'...
