He made a statement I don't agree with. He said some implements are working harder at higher RPM's. You run a tractor at the RPM that gives you 540 at the PTO regardless of where a tractor develops the most horsepower. It is not a factor of higher revving tractors. You gotta run it wherever you get 540 at the PTO plain am simple or risk destroying your implements.

Weight of a tractor plus HP is what most of us look at. You get a high HP tractor that is too light for the implement and it can't pull it up a hill or it might get pushed down a hill. The tractor might be rated with enough HP to drive an implement but that does not mean it will be safe to do so.
