I Was Told At the dealer that the winch package plugs into the gator with a wiring harness my question is i want the xt40 instead so how do you wire it

I have read on here that alot of guys are basically just hard wireing there winch to the battery like a truck.

Do a search and there are several threads about installing winches, several people have installed the xt or rt 40 winch. If this old guy remembers correctly there may ever be some photos.

CaptDan is correct. There are pictures. Type WINCH in the search block and it will pop up 3 pages of helpful info.

Hi, I have a skidder JD 440-A 1969, and I broke the cable wiring harness. When I pushed the stick for winched, the steel cable has been broken. Now, I want to know where I can find this parts ? I searched on EBAY and nothing. Thanks to help me.
