I thought about it, but decided on a winch instead.

Wow ..has the price gone up .....on the 825i the 3 year extended service plan was only $250.00 that includes service at my location and if they can not fix it in the field, transportation back to their shop and back to my location is included.

What is the difference in an extended warranty and an extended service plan? :Cnfsd:

I purchased the 2 yr extended warranty, which leaves me with 2yrs.warranty. I guess when you purchase the extended warranty it also includes the 6 months factory warranty, sucks!!! and I paid $900.00 bucks for mine.

799.00 is not many hours of shop time at the dealer and we all know how much parts are. With the front axle problem ( binding) its a no brainier.

I agree, it's only between 7 - 10 hours of shop time, and if something is difficult to figure out that 10 hours can go by quickly !

At around $300 I'd buy an extended warranty but at nearly $800 I'd pass.....for the most part I'd say that anything that's worth owning will last 2 yrs anyway :Ysnd:
