    That being said, most DS/PHs are hardly as effective as AAS. Typical gains from DS/PHs include 3-10 lbs depending on how well you plan your cycle and how well you respond to the respective testosterone hormone/steroid you are taking.

I never took them. A doctor wanted to prescribe some form of steroids for my asthma and talked about the side effects. I refused them right away and told about my cat who had two cortisone shots within two months and ended up a diabetic and had a tumor, she died before we could get the diabetes under control.
