removed plug at engine to make sure water was in block. its fine. Let her idle for a few minutes and engine got hot, but did not seem to change at radiator. Where is the Tstat on these engines?

I had a similar problem but mine was from a rubbed wire at the frame relay connection near cylinder. Glad yours was just switch, but it might be worth checking the wire conditions at the back.

Seafoam is available at Advance or Napa in the fuel injector cleaner section (if you are not familiar with it) I run it in just about everything from my F350 to my dirt bikes and weed eaters.
