So instead of the GX390 I've got a 390cc 13hp Powerfist engine, almsot an exact copy of a GX390 except cheaper...
Today I pulled all the fuel tank, muffler and airbox off it and played around a bit....
5w-30 engine oil, just normal auto stuff and the tranni 80w-90 gear oil. nothing special. These engines go forever, I've got a 92 626 and it was used everyday to drive to the farm since new so it's...
Hi, So do I. :Cnfsd:
Could be that it had poor fuel in it. or You could have low oil or the oil pump isn't circulating. I've got a few engines that do that and I still can't figure them out. It's like they miss and then...
I usually buy the cheapest plugs I can find. I find that different types of plugs don't make any difference to performance.
I've got a spare belt for mine and the one I'm running now is completely...
I'm 17. I have done lots of driving machinery around and I have never owned any small machine such as a Gator or ATV with power steering I can see how it would be useful and seriously if they offer...
Well I have finally found an engine that is going to work, To anybody that wants to drop a new engine in one of these the Honda GX390 is the best engine for the job. Its a 12 hp cranking out 19.5 ft....
That is pretty cool.
Pretty sweet. It's pretty cool that they completely tear it apart once they get it to make sure that there's no bugs in it anywhere.
It's 900lb and it's 106" Long, 62" Wide and 49" Tall.
If it's in great shape then you may be able to get $3500. If it's in good condition then $2500-3000, if it looks like junk then $1500 at the most.
I think the very most you're going to get for that is $800 where I'm from.
Not that I have ever seen or heard of. They really do suck in the snow don't they.
I think if you got a set of those Tatou tracks for the rear and fabbed up a front ski off an old Alpine you'd be...
It's a 5 wheeler. Looks like the one in my profile picture. Put up a picture of this machine.
Under the Deere symbol is a nut I'm pretty sure and it comes out and then the wheel itself comes off. I've had the whole front end apart a year ago but don't quite remember how it's held together...
It's a diff lock it will go in when one set of wheels looses traction and spins faster than the other, when you put it into difflock step on the lever then start to accelerate slowly so you don't jam...
Having the tranni in reverse isn't the best of ideas, it puts a lot of stress on it to try to slow it down by letting it slip but in your instance the belt is the only thing sliding. I usually let it...
I made a wooden jig that sat between a bunch of the fins on the flywheel, it is a backwards thread so to get it off you need to tighten it.
DO NOT put a seatbelt on it as it hasn't got a roll cage on it and if you do roll it the seatbelt holding you on the machine will crush you, if it has got a strong roll cage then a seatbelt is a must...
Thanks. I have already tried my hand at helping the guys in the AMT section, I don't know enough about the inner workings of the newer models though so you probably won't see much of me around....
Check the igniter, I never had a problem with mine dying but when it got hot and I hut it down I couldn't start it again until it cooled. I moved the igniter somewhere cooler and it helped a little...
I want to toss a 15 HP Honda Repower under mine. I've heard of people doing it but can't for the life of me find any pictures or anybody that knows anything about it. For me the 8hp Kit is worth to...
I made my own little tool that did just that, three bolts that run into the clutch and then one bigger in the middle to pull out on it.
I also need to dump a motor in an AMT. I have heard of many people putting in Honda repower engines, the only problem is the space restrictions because it is such a short space and the engine needs a...
