AMT 600 Fuel Issue

I am looking to replace the fuel lines and filter on my AMT600. Should I just go ahead and replace the fuel pump? I know these pumps are notorious for their ability to fail every few years.

If it is the original one i would, Better than cleaning rubber particals out of the carb.

$52.00 through deere which isn't bad. You can check online through small engine dealers also.
