Hello, my name is Harm and I'm a deereaholic
Just picked up a 1999 6X4, needs a little work on the steering, drive chains and seats. Has a few small leaks but nothing to major. This will be my third John Deere, I started with a 318 garden tractor (what a great machine) then a 4310 mid size tractor with FEL and backhoe (what a workhorse) and now the Gator for running around and hunting. Guess I need to by a farm now to use this stuff instead on my brothers farm all the time!
Great website and since I signed up yesterday I have already picked up two things that I needed to know. The one thing I can't figure out is when I go the the Deere web site and try to download the manual for my machine the serial numbers start at 50000 but mine is a 48XXX Is it not a TH model?
