    2014 gator is here

The new 2014 gators are on the website now. The 625 ($10,699) & 825 ($11,999) comes with doors and the 550 ($8,199) have nets. Doesn't say if the 850 is a 2014.

Are those doors standard equipment? Not liking that at all. Just got a new 2013 in November. Glad I did.

I looked at the Gator configurator and I cannot tell if the doors are standard.

In one spot, it shows as a dealer installed option on 2014 and later so this tells me you cannot easily retrofit to older models. Sometimes the configurator shows doors in the graphics and other times it does not. I think they are still updating the web site piece meal.

I'm glad that I got my 825i before they put those stupid doors on. I wonder if they come off easily?

There'd be layin in the hay loft day 1. I'm sure it is a safety deal though. My first HPX came with out a roll bar. Then I got a letter 6 months later about puttin on a roll bar for 3??.00 something. Never did it though.

Yes, I'm sure that the doors were an edict that came down from the product liability boys.

The nets come standard on 625i 825i and 855d. You have to pay an extra 700 or something for the doors. Local dealer has a decked out 825i with nets. At least those are not extra $. Deere does their annual price increase in October and i'm sure this has been added in somehow.

I was playing with the configurator when it was working for 2014 models (seems to go back to 2013 sometimes) and it showed some new lights in the long range light place when you selected the deluxe cargo option.

For the 825i, the configurator shows:

OPS with nets 4000 In Base Price

    Select this option.
    OPS with door 4001 $500.00

It is only a $1000 more on the S4.
