    Diesel valve cover torque specs

    Gents,
Going to replace my aging glow plugs so I have to pull the valve cover. Can anyone with a manual give me the torque specs for the valve cover bolts?

    Thanks!

Honestly I've never bothered using a torque wrench on valve covers except on aircraft engines and rely on the "reasonable" approach. Tight enough to compress the gasket and prevent leakage but not gorilla tight to distort or cause the gasket to squish out.

I'm too lazy to look up what engine the HPX has but this document should have what you need. It's a bit old but covers the 3 & 4 T Yanmars used by Deere.
XUV 550, engine replaced with Honda GX630, MBDiagman tuned primary clutch, all LED lighting, roof mounted Rigid LED lights, split no scratch wind screen, roof, home made rear panel & window and 1/2 doors, Super Winch 4500, set of CST Ancla tires & set of Carlisle All Trail tires

Thank you sir! Not exact but by spec, a couple close variants. I'll go w/ 97 in/lb as a reference. Much appreciated.
