Oh this is very bad---oil collects dirt---dirt causes major problems on clutches.

Use a silicone dry lube type spray.

CVT clutches are designed to be run without any lubricants - wet or dry

Before pulling all those clutch aces covers try lubeing the shifter my 825 was hard to shift I lubed the shifter with a multi purpose lube in a can with a straw , what a difference that made, still will lube the clutch but when I have more time

clutch lube
thanks for that Brad , have seen so many videos and info on that issue but makes sense I agree seems that lube on the clutch would just collect dirt , and there is never any thing said in the service manuel about lubeing the clutch , I had more luck just lubeing the shifter it had gotten dry and stiff I sprayed it with a silicone based lube and made a big difference have a good one.
