New 18 mph clutch set and loosing low end power??

I installed a new 18mph clutch set on my 2000 6x4 diesel, it seems that I have lost some umph on the hills, sure it zooms on the flats but it is steep where I live and half the time I find myself crawling now,,,

​is this normal with the new clutches?

I'm sure john deere spent a lot of time getting the right combination for torque and speed , the only mod ive heard that seems to improve these is the diesel clutch springs and weights , but I haven't tried it myself, contact Brad on this site he is spending a lot of time on this.
