    My "new'" 6x4 Gator

It needs some work. I ordered the owners manual and tech manual.

It needs a new right control arm and some drive chains for sure. Along with a full service, etc.

Not bad it just needs a little tlc. Make sure if you're changing the chains to do the spockets also. The old sprokets will chew up the chain if they are bad enough. Put a HD suspension kit on the fron to help carry the middle wheels, It should handle a llitle better. Good luck!

Looks great! I love the cage! Any chance you could take some detailed shots of it? Expecially the mounting ? I am going to make one for my 6x4 as $600 is just way to much for some steel :)

Did you try adjusting the chain ? You have to remove the rear most set of wheels and loosen the 4 bolts holding the rear most axles to the frame then you will find an adjuster bolt assembly just inside the frame on the rear of the gator for each side...you can tighten the adjuster bolt moving the individual axles toward the rear until the chain has about half and inch of play up and down at the midpoint. Hope this helps
